Our Injury Recovery Program is custom designed for each individual based on the type of injury, phase of injury, and activity level. Our three primary goals are:

  1. Remove the patient’s pain and provide a pain free range of motion to allow the individual to complete their normal activities of daily living.
  2. Stabilize the injured area and educate on ways to prevent re-injury.
  3. Optimize the function of the entire body to prevent further preventable injuries.

Phase 1 of rehabilitation will consist of a physical exam to identify the methods required to decrease pain. This may include Chiropractic care, Active Release Technique, Massage Therapy, Laser Therapy, Acupuncture, Nutritional supplements, Custom Orthotic casting, bracing, or referral for external care.

Phase 2 consists of stretching and strengthening of the identified trouble areas, Core Strengthening and Proprioceptive targeting the injured and supporting areas.

Phase 3 is comprised of biomechanical education of how related injuries may develop and how to prevent them. Exercises and/or modifications to already performed exercises are prescribed.
