Erik Nabeta, D.C.

Dr. Nabeta is a graduate of the National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois where he attained his Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science degrees. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of Toronto.

Dr. Nabeta has completed over 750 hours of additional advanced training to maximize the treatment he provides to every patient. He is certified as a Titleist Medical Professional, Functional Movement Systems, and Applied Kinesiology.

Other specialties include Acupuncture,  Sports Injury Rehab, Weight Training, Active Release Techniques, Nutrition, Custom Orthotic and Compression Stocking Fitting and Computerized Gait Analysis.

In his spare time, Dr. Nabeta enjoys all sports, traveling, tv shows and movies, reading, and cooking. He concentrates most of his time on hockey, golf, football, and baseball.

Dr. Nabeta has worked with many local sports teams as a Team Chiropractor, Trainer and Coach. These teams have included the Oakville Rangers, Oakville A’s, Toronto Lakeshore Patriots, and the Mississauga Reps.

Christine Chang, D.C.

Dr. Chang is a graduate of the National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois where she attained her Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science degrees. She is also a graduate of University of Waterloo in Bachelor of Science Honours Kinesiology Co-op.

Dr. Chang has completed over 500 hours of additional advanced training to maximize the treatment she provides to every patient.

These subjects include Acupuncture, Applied KinesiologyFunctional Movement Systems, Injury Rehabilitation, Trigenics, Clinical Conditioning, Nutrition, Custom Orthotic Casting and Computerized Gait Analysis and Custom Compression Stock fitting.

Dr. Chang’s outlook focuses on a whole body wellness, centred around Chiropractic care and Applied Kinesiology. Wellness is the state of health where your body is free of interruption or interference to any part of your nervous system, enabling you full expression and enjoyment of life.

In her spare time, Dr. Chang enjoys fitness training, cooking, traveling, watching K-dramas, going to the movies, reading, and drawing.

Olajumoke (A.J.) Akintomide, PT

A.J. holds a Master of Science in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences from Western University (UWO) and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Lagos.

With a wealth of experience in patient care and rehabilitation, AJ has worked in various healthcare settings. AJ is passionate about helping patients achieve their health goals and improve their quality of life. Her approach to physiotherapy is rooted in evidence-based practice, compassion, and personalized care. She is committed to understanding each patient’s unique needs and developing tailored treatment plans to support their journey towards better health.

Dr. Jane Shou

Jane graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelors of Science degree Specializing in Toxicology and Majoring in Human Biology. Following this, she continued her post-graduate education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto where she received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine designation. While completing her studies at CCNM, Jane also became certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, a technique that creates radiant health and enhances one’s appearance by diminishing the signs of stress and aging. Believing strongly in the mind-body connection, Jane furthered her education by becoming certified in hypnotherapy and pediatric hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy has allowed Jane to assist individuals to create change through increased self-awareness to promote self-healing and empowerment, adding another dimension to the healing process.

As a licensed ND and certified hypnotherapist, Jane is compassionate and dedicated to helping people live balanced, healthy and happy lives. Recognizing the uniqueness of every individual, Jane focuses on a personalized approach to healthcare. She utilizes a variety of therapies to create personalized treatment plans for patients to help facilitate optimal health based on their individual health concerns.

Jane is passionate about promoting health and well-being and believes strongly in the importance of all aspects of health: mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual. Jane’s goal is to help individuals achieve their highest level of health and vitality by balancing and harmonizing the whole person.

Carolyn Baranowski, RMT

Carolyn has always been passionate about massage therapy. Although raised in Oakville, she graduated from Georgian College in Barrie and qualified for her certification exams as a Registered Massage Therapist in 2010.

She enjoys helping others by applying the appropriate knowledge and techniques to meet each client’s individual health needs, always working within her scope of practice and referring to other health care professionals when it is in the clients best interest to do so. Safety and comfort are a priority in which Carolyn takes special care in ensuring this throughout each treatment. She continuously works to expand her knowledge by reading, taking courses, watching videos and discussing treatment approaches and plans with other health care professionals. Carolyn is very passionate about health and living a balanced lifestyle, and is always happy to guide others in the right direction.

When Carolyn isn’t working, she cooks a lot, golfs a little, loves games, enjoys spending time outdoors and with loved ones. Her warm-hearted personality, extra care when communicating and commitment to health make her an outstanding healthcare professional.

Shannon Matos, RMT

As a licensed massage therapist, Shannon has spent 12 years as a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Shannon graduated in 2009 from The Canadian Therapeutic Collage and since that time has had the privilege of working in many different atmospheres including spas, chiropractic clinics as well as high performance athletic programs. Shannon has worked with clients of diverse ages, presenting an array of conditions. She has helped her clients experience relief from chronic pain and injury while preparing a tailored treatment plan based on specific needs.

Since starting her career as a RMT she has skillfully learned and applied techniques and modalities of Massage Therapy including, Swedish Massage, Deep tissue Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Trigger point therapy and Fascial techniques. These techniques have helped her clients relieve muscle tightness caused by stress, shorten recovery time for injured athletes, assist in rehabilitation of sprains or strains and help eliminate pain.

Shannon has always had a passion for helping others and is looking forward to helping her clients achieve their health and wellness goals. Besides Massage Therapy Shannon enjoys hiking, reality TV and spending time with family and friends.

Amy Yang, RMT

Amy has over 10 years experience in treating acute and chronic overuse injuries, sports rehabilitation and injuries incurred from long hours of working at a desk or poor posture.

She specializes in Swedish massage, Deep tissue massage, Sport massage and Prenatal massage.

With a wide range of experience and a solid foundation in human anatomy, physiology, and pathology, Amy complemented her thorough understanding of human anatomy and her holistic approach to design treatment plans specific to each clients needs. She has worked with many workers compensation, MVA, and post-surgical clients.

William Yang, RMT, RAc, RTCMP

William has many years of experience working in multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinics in the area. Known for his joyful personality and listening skills, he uses his many therapeutic talents to focus on improving his client’s quality of life.

He specializes in the following areas:

  • Acupuncture: Dry/ Warm Needles, Moxibustion, Heat lamps, Cupping Therapy, Gua Sha, Tui na and Acupressure points.
  • Traditional Chinese medicine: Prescriptions for Herbal Remedies.
